A Legacy of Faith
In 1826, a little church was established in Limestone Springs, a small settlement that would eventually become New Holland. Eventually, the church’s membership grew, locations moved, and names changed, from Limestone Springs, to Shiloh, to Gainesville Church, to what we know today as First Baptist Church Gainesville. But, one thing has remained the same throughout the changes over two centuries—this is a congregation dedicated to learning and serving together, renewing lives through the promise of faith and extending grace to each other and the community.
