Youth Service Opportunities

Saturday Serve

Saturday Serve

Once a month our youth venture out into their community to learn and serve. We have built relationships with many non-profits and ministries throughout Hall County. On Saturday mornings, you can often find us at the Food Bank, Good News Ministry, Whispering Angle’s Ranch, etc. We encourage families to serve together and to really get to know the community surrounding us.

Backpack Love

Backpack Love

Once a Semester our youth serve our local community by filling backpacks with food. We work went Straight Street Ministries and Backpack Love. We fill 300-600 backpacks with food for elementary students with food insecurities to take home in their backpacks for the weekend.

Youth Sunday

Youth Sunday

Teaching youth how to create and lead worship is important for the future of the church. We often have our youth participating in worship on a regular basis, but one Sunday a year our youth preach, teach, sing, and lead worship for our entire congregation.

Spring Break Mission Trip

Spring Break Mission Trip

Every Spring Break we head out on a journey to meet new people, have new experience, and lend a helping hand where we are able. In the past, we have travelled to Nashville and the Bahamas during Spring Break. Whether these trips are local or international, they are a life changing way to spend your spring break. We may learn about injustices or we may be rebuilding a house, but there is something for everyone to enjoy. And as always we have a lot of fun just hanging out and building relationships with each other!

International Mission Trip

International Mission Trip

God calls us to go out into the world…
To learn.
To See.
To hear and share people’s stories.
And so every other year we venture across our borders to see how God is working in the world. We join in God’s work however we can. Going on an international trip is usually life changing for our youth. It is often uncomfortable and challenging, but always rewarding.
