Adults with Seniority - Purpose
Our purpose as Senior Adults is to serve Christ and to live life to its fullest as Christians. We strive to minister to each other and to those in our community. We find that we can serve, witness, and reach the lost for Christ as we go about our living. In our activities, fellowship times, and mission endeavors, we keep Jesus Christ as the reason for our joy and purpose. The Senior Adult Ministry involves over 500 persons who are 60 years of age and older. It is an active and vital part of the First Baptist Church family. Many of our Senior Adults can be found working and holding leadership roles in the various ministries of FBC.
An important part of the Senior Adults Ministry is our mission opportunities. Many of our seniors volunteer at our local hospitals, serve in the Meals on Wheels Program, work in our Children's Ministry, serve in our After School Program, or take mission trips around the world. We also have a very active visitation program for those in our community that are no longer physically able to attend church. For more information contact Rev. Bruce Fields: email@example.com
