Rev. Bruce Fields

Rev. Bruce Fields has been the Associate Pastor of Pastoral Care & Sr. Adult Ministry here at FBC since 1991. Bruce is a P.K. (Preacher's Kid) and was reared in Ferriday, LA. He is a graduate of Mississippi College and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bruce and his wife, Nancy, have three children: Daniel, Lydia and Andrew. Bruce was ordained in 1979 and spent 12 years as a youth minister.

Bruce is responsible for coordinating the Sr. Adult ministry, visitation ministry to those hospitalized, LoveShare, the visitation ministry to those in nursing homes and "at home." He is also a Stephen Leader who recruits and teaches multiple classes of Stephen Ministers each year.

He enjoys spending time with his family, singing and playing the guitar, reading biographies, and watching The Andy Griffith Show!
