Couch Potato to 5K
This is an awesome program, that produces awesome results! The Couch Potato to 5K program is designed to trian those who have never run before or taken break to complete a 5K race! It is also a valuable program to help avid runners improve speed work.

More than 50 new runners have completed their first ever 5K race (3.1 miles) in only 9 weeks with the couch potato method. The program slowly integrates running with walking to get you across the finish line in a healthy, sustainable way.
2015 FLC Couch Potato to 5K Program
- Monday, August 10th at 6:00pm: Kick off meeting in Nix Auditorium (across from FLC desk)
- Training from August 10th-October 15th: MTR @ 6:30PM, childcare provided (optional strength class offered at 6:00pm before group runs)
This program is FREE to FLC members and $50 for non-members. Click here to register and pay online. Online registration and payment due August 5th.
Our annual FLC 5K race will be held October 17th and will finish out the program.
