Emergency Response

Would you be prepared if a disaster or county wide emergency struck Hall County! FBC Gainesville has an Emergency Response Ministry that has worked with the American Red Cross to have our Family Life Center certified as a Shelter Location. They are soliciting volunteers that would be willing to be trained by the American Red Cross in shelter management.

Areas of service include: Admissions, Dormitory, Feeding, Health Care, And Spiritual Care. In addition to the Red Cross functions, our church provides Ham Communications and Campus Security during a disaster.

If you are interested in volunteering and training to assist with this ministry, or have your name on a list for contact in the event of an emergency, please contact Bill Wittle at (770) 335-1481 or    wwittel@bellsouth.net
